Accounts and comments

This site has no visitor accounts or registration. Comments are closed on every page and post, so no comment data, cookies, or Gravatar lookups are collected from visitors.

The Contact page inquiry form

When you press Send on the Contact page inquiry form, this website emails what you typed to Ahmed so he can reply to you. The message is not saved on this website and is not shared with anyone else. A record of it remains in Ahmed’s email.

To limit spam, the site briefly keeps an anonymized count of how many inquiries come from each connection. That count is deleted automatically after one hour.

Server logs

Like any website, the server that hosts this site keeps standard technical logs of visits: IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and operational purposes. These logs are not linked to any personal profile and are not shared or sold.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies for visitors. There is no comment form to opt into cookies, and no visitor login system. Any cookies set by the WordPress admin login are used only for site administration and never apply to visitors browsing the public site.

This site does not currently run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and does not embed third-party video, social, or ad content. If that changes, this page will be updated to describe it before it goes live.

Links to other sites

This site links out to social media profiles and, on the Media and Press pages, to press coverage on other organizations’ websites. Once you follow one of those links, that site’s own privacy policy applies. This policy only covers knowmadic.ca.
