Universities and leadership programs
Ahmed’s presentation not only engaged our undergraduate class in a unique and compelling way, but also approached this topic from a refreshing perspective, with a great deal of emphasis on the intersection of emotional intelligence and communication. Ahmed led a master class for our students following his presentation, providing a more intimate discussion about this topic. Ahmed also introduced content that was used during the course in assignments that our students completed during the course. PLLC enthusiastically recommends Ahmed Knowmadic for similar presentations, particularly to post-secondary students interested in communication and leadership skills.

I have invited Ahmed to my classes at the secondary high school and undergraduate university levels several times over the past number of years. Each time, I am amazed at his ability to connect with children, youth, and adults of all ages and backgrounds. With his art, Ahmed shatters assumptions while simultaneously inviting the listener in to the worlds he powerfully and eloquently (re)constructs and (re)imagines. Ahmed Knowmadic has the rare ability to inspire students! For the past three years, Ahmed has come to Jasper Place High School to conduct poetry workshops for my students with amazing results; without exception, students felt empowered enough to share their poetry with their peers! In the workshops, Ahmed told personal stories, shared his own poetry, and helped students turn a critical and artistic eye on their own lives, encouraging introspection and deep thought.

Community and civic organizations
Ahmed Knowmadic has an amazing and powerful gift. When I first heard him recite his poetry it brought me to tears and opened my heart to understanding.
